About Me
Who Am I?
I’m Emerald, born and raised in Yangon, Myanmar a city that shaped my early years with its people and sense of community. I spent most of my childhood growing up there before moving to Singapore to continue my studies for quite a while, which opened up a very different way of seeing the world. Living between these two places gave me a mix of perspectives: Myanmar taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of staying connected to people, while Singapore challenged me to be more structured, independent, and adaptable. Those qualities shaped who I am today, someone who values both heart and discipline, and tries to balance the two in how I live and work.
What I Do and Why I Do It?
My academic background is in technology. I graduated with a Diploma in IT from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore and later completed my BSc (Hons) in Computing from the University of Greenwich. While my education and early career were rooted in technology, I eventually found myself drawn in a different direction one that involved working more closely with people. I switched my career path because I realised how much I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and understanding them and bringing people together. Leading teams across Business Operations, Marketing, Partnerships and Employee Engagement has strengthened my belief in empathetic leadership, understanding, and enabling both personal and professional growth.
Life Beyond Work?
Outside of work, I love spending time reading, exploring new cafes, capturing moments through photography, and meeting new people. These hobbies keep me grounded and remind me of the beauty in connecting with the world in different ways. My journey may have started with technology, but my mission has always been about people, helping others discover their own path forward and walking alongside them as they grow.

It’s shown me how even the smallest actions can create meaningful impact when they come from a genuine place. ✨
